Play Brudvig Hockey with a friend: setup and help
Brudvig Hockey 2027 has two-player online games built in. You don't need an account, a friend code or an app. You send a link, your friend opens it, and you're on the same ice. Neither of you needs a console or a $70 yearly hockey release, just a browser.
Start a game in three steps
- Open brudvighockey.com and tap Challenge a friend. The game makes a link for your match.
- Send the link by text, chat, email or anything else that carries a link.
- Your friend opens it and taps Join the game. They play Blue, you play Red, live, with the same score, the same hits and the same broken glass on both screens.
While you wait, you can play the computer. The real game starts as soon as your friend arrives.
What you need
- A modern browser: Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox.
- A phone, tablet, laptop, desktop or Chromebook. You can mix them: phone against computer works fine.
- An internet connection on both ends. Steady Wi-Fi or a good mobile signal plays best.
If someone drops out
Connections hiccup. If your friend's drops, the computer takes over their team right away and hands it back when they reconnect, so the game doesn't stop. If the host leaves for good, the guest finishes the game against the computer.
Good to know
- It's two players, one per team: you each control your team's skater with the ring, and the computer fills in the rest.
- Pausing with Esc is for games against the computer.
- Nobody needs to sign up, so the link is all your friend needs.
Troubleshooting
My friend opened the link but isn't in the game
Make sure they opened the whole link, including the part after the question mark (it looks like ?g= followed by a short code). Some apps cut links when they're copied by hand. Sending it with your app's share or copy button avoids that. Then they tap Join the game.
The game is stuttering
Online games need both connections to be steady. Move closer to the Wi-Fi router, pause big downloads or videos on the same network, and close other tabs. If one of you is on a weak mobile signal, that's usually the cause.
Someone dropped out
The computer takes over their team right away and hands it back when they reconnect, so just wait or keep playing. If the host has left for good, the guest finishes against the computer.
We want a rematch
Start a new challenge from the home page and send the new link. Take turns being the one who sends it.
